Our very first lobby day was a huge success! Yesterday, our Executive Director was joined by members of our affiliate associations along with Tabitha Zimny, Associate Lobbyist for Karoub Associates at the Michigan State Capital.
Members met with legislative members to give an overview of RPOA-M and discuss our concerns about the proposed housing legislation that has been introduced. After the meetings, members gathered for lunch with House and Senate members and their staff.

This was a great opportunity for our members to get involved in the governmental affairs work that our association does and have small group discussions about the issues that matter most to them and share those issues with those who have the ability to create meaningful change.
Collaboration and cooperation in addressing the complex issues affecting the real estate investing industry are so important and we hope to continue to coordinate events like this to help push the industry forward in a way that benefits all.
