The Rental Property Owners Association of Michigan is a not-for-profit Michigan corporation made up of rental property owner associations throughout Michigan. The association includes representation from Big Rapids, Genesee County, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Macomb County, Muskegon County and St. Joseph County. These associations represent over 3,200 landlords and investment property owners.

The purpose of RPOA-M is to advance the commercial and economic principles of the rental property and real estate investment industry in the State of Michigan through active participation in state legislative activities and lobbying. The RPOA-M has an office and part-time staff. Volunteers meet regularly in Lansing to review pending legislation and discuss issues which affect the rental property business.
